Where the hell have -I- been? Now that's a loaded question. The real answer is... here! Just not... here.

I've been spending less time sitting in front of a computer and more time sitting in front of stained glass. I finished my first big piece, a painted panel that contains trivia for the city of Davenport as a lit piece to display near the entrance.

Part of yesterday and all of today went into removing the caulking from an old steel frame and then removing the pieces of old church window glass within it for my first restoration project. I'll be part of the team that handles glass restoration if I can learn how to do it properly and restoration of something as appealing as glass sounds right up my alley. I think this is what they'd refer to as "a learning experience". I'd like to think of this as "experience", in general. LoL!
